Measurements ARE VERY IMPORTANT for measuring the effectiveness of a nutrition and exercise regime.
If you are trying to lose weight the weight scale should, over time, show your weight getting lower and lower. BUT how do you know if it’s working till it finally registers on the scale?
The answer is to MEASURE yourSELF with the good old fashioned measuring tape. Here are 4 Sites to measure and HOW to measure them.
During the period of your weight loss program you should notice, if you are trying to lose weight, that the measurements are getting smaller as you consistently apply your healthy weight loss lifestyle. You should also notice some of these areas starting to get firmer.
Step 1. Measure (in centimeters) around your belly button
Step 2. Measure (in centimeters) around your butt.
Step 3 & 4 Measure around each thigh (in centimeters).
- You want to measure the widest area at each of these sites so for example measure the thickest part of your thigh on each leg.
- Measuring in centimeters will make smaller changes more noticeable.
